Our investments business unit manages investments through subsidiaries or associates. This unit has a broad mandate to acquire equity stakes in both listed and unlisted companies, vehicles, and projects, with high socio-economic impact. We pursue opportunities with high industry transformation or disruption potential, in which we can leverage our investment banking capability. Our principal focus is in infrastructure, mining, agriculture, and fintech platforms. A key strategy we uphold is value partnership with established operators that have extensive experience in managing and operating similar investments with the intention of ramping up their operations and activities. Our key objectives are to generate a good return on investment, and impact. The investment team has extensive experience in undertaking and managing private equity investments and has played a strategic and active role in assisting investee companies to achieve their full potential.
