OSCAR PARADZA

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Oscar is a chartered accountant CA(SA), CA(Z) and began his career with PwC. He has an MBL degree from UNISA, and majored in portfolio management and strategic management. Oscar was a Senior Manager – Africa for the ZSE listed Pan African conglomerate, Innscor Africa Limited, before becoming Group Finance Director of the energy and transport group, Migdale Holdings, which in addition, was a major shareholder in Genesis Investment Bank. Oscar became Corporate Finance Partner with the professional services firm, Baker Tilly Central Africa and later was Executive Director: Corporate Finance at Quartile Capital, prior to founding Southcity Capital.

Oscar has diverse experience and has executed transactions in diverse industries including the food, telecoms, energy, transport and logistics, pharmaceuticals, medical, retail, IT, manufacturing, resources, and real estate industries, and the PPP Advisory space, totaling in excess of R70billion. He has worked in diverse geographies and executed transactions across the African continent.
