EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Papa Sekyiamah has over 20 years’ experience working in Sub Saharan Africa, holding senior leadership positions and Directorships of established and startup companies. He has worked in 7 African countries including South Africa, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Zimbabwe and Nigeria Before setting up Black Eagle Capital, Papa was Executive Head of Strategy, Strategic Projects, Marketing and Communication at Nedbank Africa Regions, where he oversaw a multi year transformation program. He also served as Managing Director for Nedbank Lesotho, helping the business achieve its highest profitability. Before Nedbank, he worked for McKinsey and Company. He is a turnaround specialist having led multiple teams to achieve a greater performance. He has managed transformative project portfolios exceeding R 1 bn. His sector experience spans financial services, oil and gas, agriculture, education, food retail, mining and housing .

Papa has served as Director of Nedbank Malawi, Nedbank Swaziland and current Chairman of Nedbank Lesotho, a commercial bank and of Fortress Energy and Procurement, a startup oil and gas services company.
